'Long awaited' as described by A + N.
For over a decade, A + N had built a life together, filled with laughter, adventures, and an unbreakable bond. Finally, on a beautiful March day, they sealed their love in the heart of downtown Cincinnati at The Spot on West Fifth. The day began with a flurry of excitement as A and N prepared for their wedding in nearby hotel rooms, each surrounded by their closest friends and family.
A's room was filled with the quintessential joy of girlhood. The bridesmaids sipped mimosas in matching robes, while music played in the background. Laughter filled the air as they got dolled up together, creating what felt like a core memory in the making.
The ceremony was an early affair, a classic modern setup framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. As the afternoon sun streamed in, it cast a golden glow over A + N, creating a dreamy backdrop for their vows. True to their playful nature, A + N surprised everyone by "Icing" their friends and guests with Smirnoff Ice, adding a touch of humor to the heartfelt proceedings.
Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a brunch catered by Pickles and Bones BBQ, featuring an incredible spread of delicious dishes. The highlight was a seemingly endless array of quiches, each one more tempting than the last.
Next, the celebration moved to a place close to A + N's hearts—MadTree Brewing. Having taken their engagement photos there, it felt like a homecoming of sorts. The staff and regulars greeted them with warm congratulations, and we were able to sneak away for some portraits on the observation deck. It was a privilege to capture moments on the brewery floor, thanks to MadTree's generous hospitality.
Afterward, we took a party bus to Eden Park for group photos. The early spring buds were just beginning to show, and the park's beauty was enhanced by the recent snowfall that had melted away just in time for A + N's special day. As we traveled back to The Spot, the party bus was filled with joy, laughter, and MadTree's SWAY, setting the perfect tone for the evening ahead.
Once back at The Spot, it was time for grand entrances, speeches, dinner, drinks, dancing, and dessert. Speaking of desert, there were two incredible custom cakes by Cincy Sammy's. A indulged in a rich chocolate cake just for her—she's known for not sharing her chocolate! The dessert bar was extensive and irresistible, offering a sweet treat for everyone. Atlas + Co also brought these little charcuterie cups that were TO DIE FOR - they were so cute!
With recent family losses, the speeches and dances were particularly poignant, filled with emotion and love. For privacy reasons, we won’t delve deeper into these moments, but they were a testament to the strength and support of A + N's family and friends.
As the night unfolded, the dance floor came alive. The Island Brothers kept the energy high, especially among the groomsmen. Their infectious beats had everyone dancing, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
